US-based casino company Maverick Gaming has finalized its acquisition of Evergreen Gaming, a Washington-based gaming and betting corporation. A total amount of US$80.5 million was paid for the acquisition.

The deal, which was awaiting regulatory approval from the Washington State Gaming Commission, has now been finalized. With approval secured, the two betting companies were able to proceed with their merger and acquisition agreement.

Now that the deal was approved, Maverick Gaming acquired all of Evergreen’s stock and assets. The deal will significantly expand Maverick’s presence in the US, strengthening the casino company with several new properties.

In total, Evergreen Gaming currently owns four cardrooms in Washington. With the acquisition complete, Maverick Gaming now owns the following properties: Chips Casino in Lakewood, Goldies Casino in Shoreline, Palace Casino in Lakewood and Riverside Casino in Tukwila.

Following the acquisition, Maverick now owns a total of 31 casinos, hotels and manufacturing companies across Colorado, Nevada and Washington. Its table games number has expanded to over 360, while its slots now number 2,700.

In terms of hospitality, Maverick has 1,300 rooms in its hotels with 50 restaurants available for its guests’ dining needs. The company’s team currently has around 3,500 employees.
