Bet99 signs partnership with the National Hockey League in Canada

Bet99 has signed a multi-year deal with the National Hockey League (NHL) in Canada to launch a new free predictive game for the league. The game, NHL PrePlay, will use NHL Edge data to generate predictions, offering experiences as prizes in addition to a top prize of $73,450.

The game will be available on every game day during the NHL season. Prediction questions include: ‘Who will win the game?’ and ‘Which of these players will have the hardest play?’

Game fans will receive points based on correct answers, with the top point recipient receiving over $70,000 as a Grand Prize winner. Additional prizes include store gift cards, weekly ticket giveaways and a monthly trip to an NHL event such as the NHL Winter Classic.

Under the agreement, Bet99 will receive exposure while broadcasting matches for its brands via digitally enhanced panels and in the Stanley Cup playoffs, which will be broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet.

The deal also gives Bet99 a number of exclusive marketing rights and designations that will connect the brand to NHL fans using the league’s marketing network, digital and social media channels.

Bet99 CEO analyzes new sports partnership

Bet99 CEO Jared Beber said: “This partnership is groundbreaking for Canadian hockey and sports fans. NHL PrePlay will expand fan engagement and excitement about NHL games, especially the prize pools, which include access to once-in-a-lifetime experiences.”

“Designed to support our focus on education within the gaming space, the game provides opportunities for players to explore the space and become more informed without placing real money wagers.”

“Not only is the NHL PrePlay program innovative and a great entry point for new and potential bettors, but the educational aspect also fits in well with our focus on responsible gaming. We will also leverage our partnership with NHL star Auston Matthews, taking this deal to the next level,” concluded Beber.
