This Thursday (14), starting at 8pm (Brasília time), Caixa Econômica Federal is promoting the draw for the 2,700th Mega-Sena contest, with a prize estimated at R$50 million.
Last Tuesday (12), no bettor managed to match the six numbers drawn. However, 43 bets won by matching five numbers, resulting in an individual prize of R$51,309.67.
The numbers drawn in the previous contest (2,699) were: 09-23-31-49-54-58.
The draw will take place at Espaço da Sorte, in São Paulo, with live broadcast on Loterias Caixa‘s social networks on Facebook and the official YouTube channel.
How to participate and game rules
Participating in the Mega-Sena is simple: just select 6 to 20 numbers on the betting wheel. Additionally, players can opt for “Surpresinha“, in which the system chooses the numbers at random.
Or if you prefer, “Teimosinha“, which allows you to compete with the same bet in multiple consecutive competitions.
Mega-Sena draws take place three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The minimum bet, which consists of selecting 6 numbers, costs R$5.00. Selecting more numbers increases the bet price, which results in greater chances of winning the coveted prize.
Caixa Pool
The Caixa Pool allows players to participate in groups, that is, by filling in the dedicated field on the wheel or purchasing shares in prize pools organized by the Lottery Units.
Therefore, there may be an additional Service Fee of up to 35% of the value of the share in lottery pools, with a minimum price of R$15.00 in Mega-Sena and minimum shares of R$6.00.
Pools can have from 2 to 100 odds and up to 10 bets per pool, all with the same number of prediction numbers. This option allows you to share the costs of betting and, in case of winnings, the prizes are divided between the participants.
Mega-Sena prize redemption
Winners can redeem their prizes at any accredited lottery outlet or at Caixa branches.
However, winners can only claim prizes above R$2,259.20 at Caixa Econômica Federal branches, and must present original documents.
The bank pays amounts of R$10,000.00 or more within two business days after presenting the winning ticket at one of its branches.
