A group of players in Goiânia (GO) had their luck confirmed by matching the six winning numbers (04 – 13 – 18 – 39 – 55 – 59) in the recent Mega-Sena lottery draw, held last Tuesday.

The substantial prize of more than R$206 million will be distributed among the 24 shares participating in the pool.

According to information provided by Caixa Econômica Federal, the winning bet was made up of 10 numbers. To enter the game with this number of tens, the cost is R$1,050.

In addition to the big winner, another 287 bets managed to hit the corner, guaranteeing each of them a prize of more than R$39,000. While 16,669 players hit the court, taking home R$968.91 each.

According to Caixa Econômica Federal, the chance of winning the maximum prize with a simple bet is one in more than 50 million.

Mega-Sena draws take place three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

How to play Mega-Sena

To compete for the Mega-Sena grand prize, the bettor must match the six numbers drawn. There are also prizes for those who match 4 or 5 numbers out of the 60 available on the betting wheel.

The player can choose from 6 to 20 numbers on the wheel, or opt for the “Surprise”, where the system selects the numbers randomly.

You can also use the ‘Teimosinha’ option to participate with the same bet in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 12 contests in a row.

Anyone who wants to win a prize like the Mega-Sena winner can fill in the appropriate field on the steering wheel or ask the lottery attendant.

Pools organized by lottery units are also an option, with an additional service fee of up to 35% of the share value.

In Mega-Sena, jackpots currently have a minimum price of R$15.00, with each share not being less than R$6.00.

But the number of odds per pool varies from 2 to 100, with a maximum of 10 bets per pool. In case of multiple bets, all must have the same number of prediction numbers.
