In one of the most important moments in Cruzeiro’s history, the club has a new partner. Betfair – one of the largest online betting companies in the world – has just stamped the chest of the team’s shirt that, after three years, is back in Serie A of the Brazilian Championship. The agreement signed is for the master sponsorship of the men’s team and also includes an important space for brand exposure on the women’s uniform – on the back, at the top.

The contract model is innovative, based on the culture of cooperation and provides for deliveries that go beyond the properties on the shirts. A series of activities will be aimed directly at the 10 million fans that make up Nação Azul, such as raffles and prizes for VIP tickets and official products, exclusive promotions and unique experiences with the participation of Raposa´s talent.
Betfair also guarantees brand exposure in all Cruzeiro digital media, training uniforms, interview backdrops, prism in the stadium, logo on the team bus and launch of a customized program of club legends.

The sponsorship agreement began this month, in the midst of the club’s 102nd anniversary celebrations, with an initial validity of two years.
This Saturday (28), Cruzeiro faced Ahtletic at Arena Independência for the second round of the 2023 Campeonato Mineiro. to Betfair.
The city of Belo Horizonte will also be surprised with several animated projections of the new shirt in iconic buildings, such as the JK building, located in Praça Raul Soares. Launch activations were produced by Octagon Latam, a sports marketing agency.
The buzz around the revelation started in the previous match, against Patrocinense, on January 21st. Raposa debuted in the Campeonato Mineiro with the white shirt stamped with a question mark in place of the master sponsor. The action left fans curious and fueled speculation on social media.
One of the greatest players in the history of world football, Ronaldo Nazário could not be left out of the celebration of this partnership. The former striker – revealed by Cruzeiro and current manager of the club – is also an official ambassador for Betfair. The Fenômeno participated in the announcement from inside the field and will be involved in several activations of the brand with the team.
