Sportradar will provide Française des Jeux (FDJ) with automated match highlights as the French operator looks to deepen fan engagement for its sports betting brand, ParionsSport en ligne.
Through their agreement, FDJ will leverage Sportradar’s live channel promotion service to provide ParionsSport customers with “near-live” 30-second video clips of various games.
Customers must sign up to receive short-form video content, which will be delivered directly to their mobile devices via push notifications. The content is segmented according to customers’ betting preferences, as per Sportradar, to create what it called “a highly personalized and immersive experience”.
“Through Sportradar’s market-leading technology, we are able to provide FDJ with the tools it needs to engage more deeply and objectively with its customer base of sports fans,” said Patrick Mostboeck, Global Director of Video and Streaming Products at sportradar.
“Providing a personalized video highlight directly to customers is a very rich way to approach them and facilitates a meaningful engagement opportunity beyond sending a push notification with a generic message.”
FDJ will be the first French operator to exploit Sportradar’s live promotion product
FDJ will become the first French operator to incorporate Sportradar’s live channel promotion product. The service offers video content from top European football leagues and cups, including the Bundesliga (Germany) and Copa del Rey (Spain).
