iGaming Brazil – What products is Altenar bringing to the sports betting market in Brazil?

Gabriela Novello – The sports betting market in Brazil has become more demanding. Attracting new players and especially retaining them has been a daily task for operators. It is critical that operators understand the new demands of their customers.

We are bringing to Brazil a solution adapted to meet the demands of traditional gamblers and a new generation of consumers in this industry. We have been working to deliver to our partners several tools that make them more competitive in the Brazilian market, such as Sports Jackpot (Bolão or Malandrinha), Margin 0%, that is, events with the best odds on the market, Bore Draw “bonus in case of a tie” in different markets and Early Payment, especially for football matches that are a great passion for Brazilians.

In addition to a complete promotion tool with 7 types of bonuses such as; Turbo betting, Risk free Bet, Cashback and much more.

iGaming Brazil – What is your expectation regarding the regulation of sports betting in the country? What will Altenar’s strategy be to support its partners?

Gabriela Novello – I believe that the regulation of online gambling in Brazil will benefit several verticals in this industry, in addition to bringing economic benefits to the country.

Brazil, discussing the implementation of regulation as one of the first in South America and at a late stage in relation to other European countries, has the opportunity to make a more competitive market by learning from the successes and mistakes of other markets to bring a law that meets local cultural and business needs by preventing the growth of the black market in the territory. To be a support tool for players, operators and suppliers to practice sustainable and safe business in the market.

We are closely monitoring regulatory developments to support our current and future partners in this transition. Altenar already operates in several regulated markets and is prepared for when regulation takes place in Brazil. “We are licensed in several countries with local regulations in force such as Portugal, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Sweden, Colombia, Canada, among others.”

Altenar considerably expanded its market presence this year, we are working hard to continue expanding our presence in Brazil “The growth, in my opinion, is due to flexibility and customization, resulting in a product that takes into account the particularities of the largest country in South America South” We are attending local conferences and listening closely to our partners to understand their demands. For us, it is an attractive market with enormous potential to be explored due to its dimension, sporting culture and perspective of reform.

iGaming Brazil – Altenar is launching/launched a new internal terminal system, developed with the highest technology. How does this solution created for operators work?

Gabriela Novello – It’s a technology designed to deliver the industry’s first next-generation solution with a fully customizable on-screen user experience.

The terminal is currently licensed by the UKGC and has been tested in the Belgian and Latin American retail markets, while it will seek to expand across all regulated gaming and betting markets as “the most cost-effective and advanced solution available”. The product is expected to grow in the United Kingdom, Malta, Spain, Colombia, Denmark and Sweden.

The technology is inspired by the same software update model implemented by Silicon Valley, and will be continuously updated in real time, giving Altenar an advantage.

In this sense, the terminal was created to offer operators the same back-office technology as other advanced terminals on the market, so “the Altenar product stands out for offering a fully customized front-end solution with personalized accessibility”.

iGaming Brazil – How does Altenar operate in this eSports market?

Gabriela Novello – Definitely, eSports are here to stay. Its growth soared during the pandemic, especially e-Football.

It is a option that has brought a permanent share in the volume of business, with great room for development and learning, both for bettors and in terms of risk management.

For the most part, companies offering eSports are limited to offering pre-match betting, however, Altenar and its eSports content provider, Oddin, bring a differentiator to the emerging crowd of iGamers.

This means that with Altenar you can place in-game bets: from match results, the first team to a specific number of rounds or live bets on who will win or lose their lives in a match. We offer markets that make the user experience even more attractive for e-sports lovers.
