Lotofácil da Independência draws BRL 200 million in the September draw

One of the most anticipated dates for Brazilians is September 7th, and with it the bets for the Lotofácil da Independência contest, one of the specials held by Caixa Econômica Federal.

This year, therefore, the 2,900th draw will take place on September 9th.

And the best part is that the prize is estimated at R$ 200 million and does not accumulate, as in the other special draws of the Caixa Lotteries.

See how the Lotofácil da Independência works?

According to the bank, if no bet matches the 15 numbers, the prize will be divided among the 14 numbers matching and so on, according to the modality rule.

If only one winner takes the Lotofácil da Independência prize and invests the entire amount in savings, he will receive approximately R$ 1.36 million in income in the first month.

How to place the bet

To bet, you need to mark between 15 and 20 numbers, among the 25 available on the ticket, and the person who matches 11, 12, 13, 14 or 15 numbers takes the prize.

In addition, it is also possible to let the system choose the numbers through the surpresinha.

Another way to bet on Lotofácil, in addition to individual games, is to form a group to choose the numbers, the so-called Bolão Caixa.

When registered in the system, the bet generates a quota receipt for each participant, who can redeem their share of the prize individually.

In Lotofácil, the tickets have a minimum price of BRL 12, and each share cannot be less than BRL 4.

The gambler can also acquire shares of pools organized by the lottery. Therefore, just ask the attendant for the number of odds you want and keep the receipt to check the bet on the day of the draw.

In this way, an additional service fee of up to 35% of the quota value may be charged, at the discretion of the lottery.

According to the Caixa lotteries website, the probability of winning with a simple six-number bet is one in 50,063,860.

That is, there are around 50 million different combinations of Mega Sena games and other games.

According to Enap, in Brazil, in an adult population of 154 million people, almost 6 million people played the lottery (4% of the adult population) in one year, between mid-2017 and mid-2018.
