The dozens drawn were as follows: 34 – 35 – 39 – 47 – 51 – 56. The five hits registered 71 winning bets, which will pocket R$ 64,445.75 each. While the four hits had 4,564 winning bets, with a prize of R$ 1,432.21 each.

Bets on the Mega Sena

Bets can be placed until 7 pm (Brasília time), in any lottery shop in the country or online, on the Caixa Econômica Federal website – accessible by cell phone, computer or other devices. You must register, be of legal age (18 years or older) and fill in your credit card number.

The Mega-Sena pays millions to the person matching the 6 numbers drawn. It is still possible to win prizes by matching 4 or 5 numbers out of the 60 available on the betting wheel. Draws are held twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

To make your dream of becoming a millionaire come true, you must mark 6 to 20 numbers on the ticket, allowing the system to choose the numbers for you (Surpresinha) and/or compete with the same bet for 2, 4 or 8 consecutive contests (Teimosinha ).

The probability of winning in each contest changes according to the number of dozens played and the type of bet promoted. For the simple bet (with only six numbers), which costs BRL 5, the probability of winning the millionaire prize is 1 in 50,063,860, according to Caixa.

For a bet with 15 dozens (maximum limit), priced at BRL 22,522.50, the probability of hitting the prize is 1 in 10,003, according to Caixa.
