CAPEMISA Capitalização celebrates its 10th anniversary

One of the benchmarks in capitalization and the first company to make payments for raffles in a completely digital way in the country, CAPEMISA Capitalização reaches a decade of existence. With operating revenue of 467 million reais in the first half of this year, the business has already fulfilled the dreams of 63,000 winners, with BRL 500 million in prizes, since the regulatory framework for the segment, in March 2019.

With a powerful business plan in the form of Rewardable Philanthropy, the company is in all parts of Brazil, with 29 operations, a number that increases annually. The products help social institutions such as APAE Brasil, FEAPAE MG, Casa Ronald McDonald RJ, GRAAC and Hospital de Amor.

This expansion and prominence are linked to the company’s investment in technology, according to the commercial director, Marcio Coutinho. “We are improving all the processes that support this commercialization, using technology and focusing on partnerships. We use what is most modern to further expand our operations and, with this, also help such important institutions in the support of those most in need”, he explained.

According to the president of APAE Brasil, José Turozi, these titles are essential to carry out activities to support people with intellectual disabilities. “Today, there are more than 15 states and thousands of projects served with these resources. Without them, activities such as the purchase of equipment, renovations, constructions and the qualifications of the technical team would be compromised”, he said.

This was also the vision of Amanda Machado, a partner at Poticap, the company’s award-winning Philanthropy title in Piauí. Amanda commented that even in a difficult period, such as the last few months, the product continues to appeal to the clientele: “All the investment made in service and technology makes a difference. All goals were achieved”.

Innovation initiatives

Last year, CAPEMISA Capitalização invested in improvements to its processes. In March 2020, it implemented the Sweepstakes Service Portal, which provided more speed in resolving the requests of the winners.

Since then, the company has been making changes for customers and partners that involve the use of Artificial Intelligence in the evaluation of documentation and payments. After a year, in yet another innovative initiative, it became the first company in the national insurance market to make random payments via PicPay.

“We are pioneers. In this type of digital payment project, we were able to include customers who are unbanked and now have opportunities to carry out financial process transactions in a secure manner. All of this contributes to expanding the business in general”, declared Marcio Coutinho.

Incentive modality

CAPEMISA Capitalização is also dedicated to increasing its operations in the Incentive mode, since promotions always appeal to customers and become an investment by producers and brands.

“It’s a big bet of the Capitalization market, an opportunity to expand the business and gain the loyalty of the public. We want to double our portfolio by the end of the year with the recovery of the economy”, stressed Coutinho.

Tiago Amorim, a partner at Incentive who is a partner of the company in the title of the modality, reinforced the credibility of the business throughout this decade of history. “To start this project, we carried out a survey in search of a company with market knowledge and a good relationship with Susep. It is very gratifying to be part of this story in a business that has everything to grow even more”, he stressed.
