The holiday of Tiradentes, this Wednesday, 21, will promote changes in the programming of the lotteries of Caixa Econômica Federal. The bank does not promote extractions on national holidays. In this case, the sweepstakes need to be suspended or scheduled for other days.

In normal weeks, Mega-Sena, Loteria Federal, Super Sete, Lotofácil and Quina contests take place on Wednesdays. Below, check out a list of all the modalities that will be affected by the holiday.

Changes in lotteries due to the holiday

Normally, no draw takes place on the holiday, except that the definition of what happens with each lottery depends on Caixa Econômica.

Federal Lottery

The Federal Lottery runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays. However, the bank preferred to just skip the Tiradentes holiday and continue the normal schedule. Therefore, the next contest will be on Saturday, 24, at 19h.

Mega-Sena

The country’s main lottery has draws on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Due to this holiday, the contest is scheduled for Thursday, 22, at 20h, at Espaço Loterias Caixa, in São Paulo. Players can place their bets until 7pm.

Quina

The quina competitions take place from Monday to Saturday. Therefore, the draws return on Thursday at 8 pm. That is, the deadline for placing bets ends at 19h.

Lotofácil

With daily draws, the modality will not have a program on Wednesday, returning on Thursday, 22. Players will be able to check the draw from 20h.

Super Sete

Draws for the most recent lottery category at Caixa are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This time, Caixa opted only to follow the calendar. Bettors will be able to play their game until 2 pm on Friday, 23, as the contest will take place at 3 pm.

Lottery agencies

In addition to changes in lottery draws, the player also needs to pay attention to how lotteries work to secure their bets. Traditionally, agencies do not open on national holidays, which is also true for this Wednesday.

Therefore, whoever wants to play his game in person will have to anticipate or postpone it for Thursday. But, it is possible to find alternative channels to place your lottery bets, including to escape the queues.

The Brazilian can play on the platform or in the official app of Caixa in all contests. In addition to offering security at this time of health crisis, online betting can also be carried out at any time, including holidays.
