Mega-Sena will hold the drawing for its biggest prize of 2026 this Thursday

This Thursday (29), the Mega-Sena contest 2966 will draw the biggest prize of the year: R$ 102 million.

After accumulating once again last Tuesday (27), the prize exceeds the value of R$ 100 million for the first time in 2026.

The drawing takes place at 9 PM at Espaço da Sorte, in São Paulo, with the results being announced immediately afterwards.

There’s still time to place a bet.

Anyone who wants to participate and try their luck can place their bet until 8 pm at lottery outlets or through Caixa Econômica Federal’s electronic channels.

Currently, a simple bet, which allows you to choose six numbers, costs R$ 6. Participation is restricted to those over 18 years of age.

The grand prize goes to whoever matches all six numbers drawn, but it’s also possible to win prizes by matching four or five numbers.

What are the odds of winning?

According to official data from Caixa Econômica Federal, the probability of winning the jackpot with a simple bet (6 numbers) is 1 in 50,063,860.

Those who opt for a bet with 20 numbers — the maximum allowed — will have a 1 in 1,292 chance, paying R$ 232,560.00.

What prizes have already been drawn in 2026 by Mega-Sena?
