The 2,965th Mega-Sena draw promises to stir up lottery houses and digital channels across the country this Tuesday (27).
After the prize accumulated in the last few draws, Caixa Econômica Federal estimates paying out R$ 92 million to whoever correctly guesses all six lucky numbers.
The draw, which will take place at 9 pm (Brasilia time) at Espaço da Sorte in São Paulo, carries the tension of the last contest.
Last Saturday (24), no bettor managed to guess the main combination, causing the prize value to increase even more.
How to place a bet
For those who wish to try their luck, Mega-Sena offers three weekly opportunities: the draws traditionally take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
A simple bet, which allows you to choose six numbers, costs R$ 6 and can be made in person at any lottery outlet or online, through the Caixa Lotteries website or app, until 8 pm.
For those who prefer to bet online, payment can be made via PIX, credit card, or Caixa’s internet banking.
Digital group bets have a slightly longer deadline, until 8:30 PM, but are only available on the Loterias Online portal and the official app. Participation is restricted to those over 18 years of age.
Odds of winning
According to official data from Caixa Econômica Federal, the probability of winning the jackpot with a simple bet (6 numbers) is 1 in 50,063,860.
Those who opt for a bet with 20 numbers — the maximum allowed — will have a 1 in 1,292 chance, paying R$ 232,560.00.
The expectation of a high prize and the proximity of the draw should intensify activity at physical and digital betting locations.
The official results will be released shortly after the draw on Caixa’s official channels.
