The first edition of the Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS) – The iGaming Intelligence Made in Brazil – ended this Thursday, 2. The only event in the sports betting market held in person in the country in 2021 has gone down in history, becoming the largest industry in Brazil.
Nationally and internationally prestigious brands actively participated in the two days of robust programming with panels, lectures and exhibitions.
In addition to debates and exhibitions by large companies, the event provided the delivery of prizes for the highlights of the iGaming market, the first specific award for this market in Brazil.
With 14 categories, the Brazilian iGaming Awards revealed the names of the winners on the night of Wednesday, 1st, with presenter Elia Júnior as master of ceremonies. Finalist in three categories, the iGaming Group won the ‘Best Marketing Agency’ award in 2021.

The first edition of BiS gained space in several news portals such as Superesportes, Istoé, Sala da Notícias, Maranhão Government News Agency, among other specialized vehicles. Remembering that the next edition of the Brazilian iGaming Summit has already been confirmed and should be promoted in the middle of next year.

Band, always present at betting events, highlighted the participation of personalities such as comedian Rafinha Bastos and former basketball player, Oscar Schmidt, in the promoted seminars.
The station also echoed the presence of Gustavo José de Guimarães e Souza (Secretary of Evaluation, Planning, Energy and Lottery at the Ministry of Economy), who gave the first lecture at the event on “Positive Impact of the Gaming Sector on the Brazilian Economy”.
Interviewed by Band, the secretary stated that “regulation involves actors from various spheres” and stressed the importance of “promoting this regulation as soon as possible”.
