The YouTube channel 1win Afiliados launched a podcast with Brazil’s number 1 streamer, Victor Coringa, also known as LOUD Coringa, which needs no introduction – the 12 million subscribers and participation in the online sports organization speak for themselves.
But few people know that he has been working with 1win Afiliados for a long time, playing our games on streamers and is one of 1win’s most prominent partners across Latin America.
Victor shared with us his success story, talked about streaming, his favorite games, the achievements of the online sports organization LOUD, his hobbies and, of course, about working with 1win Afiliados. And we have prepared for you the most interesting excerpts from the interview in text format.
Give a recommendation for someone who is just starting to stream, what does this person need, what characteristics do they need to develop?
Victor Coringa: I think originality and personality, for sure. Because I think that for a great star to be born, it has to be a unique star. It can’t be that similar star or something like that.
I think you have to have a lot of persistence, because the path is not easy either. Undoubtedly. But, beyond all that, love what you do and keep going, which is certainly worth it in the end.
In your opinion, when is the time to partner with another streamer and not do it too?
Victor Coringa: I think collabs are very important. These are very good things, especially when they bring communities together, right? Because people really like it. The review is different, so it ends up breaking away from the routine we find ourselves in on a daily basis.
And I think this is really cool to be able to bring different content to what you’re used to and do things that we wouldn’t normally do if we were alone.
Because this issue of streaming, right? It’s a lot of the person watching to feel part of the review, that conversation, you know? From that moment.
Victor Coringa: Exactly. It’s that conversation we talked about naturally, right?
When you stop being yourself and everything, the review, the chat, the community comes together and it seems like everyone is friends and is in the same review together. This is the community.
For you, is there a topic that you think is best never addressed on a stream?
Victor Coringa: Ah, there are several sensitive topics, right? Which is kind of the basics for anyone streaming nowadays. Because… Because when you’re live, your opinions will usually differ 100% most of the time.
So if you have the option of not giving your opinion, don’t give your opinion. In certain topics, they are the ones that you know like… It will generate controversy. Do not speak. You better be like… Bring content, entertainment. Sometimes your opinion can be nicer if it adds something to someone rather than making that discussion cause discomfort.
Do you think that your audience tends to consume everything you do or is it more segmented? Are there some people who consume more certain types of things, other people who consume more others?
Victor Coringa: It’s normal that not everyone will follow everything, but it’s also normal that I can’t keep doing the same thing every day. With the public all the time. If I want to bring more people, I have to do different things and if I want to, like, continue doing this for much longer, I have to innovate myself. So sometimes people follow what I do today, so when I try to do something different people say, oh, I’m going out and I’ll be back later, you know?
So when you’re live it’s very normal that you rotate a lot of people watching you and sometimes they like to watch you playing a game or talking, reacting, but it’s good that you keep trying to do different things because it’s normal that normally some things will fall, others will rise, but it’s also normal because you have to bring in new people to follow the work, do what you do and that’s a process, right?
Victor, before you started working with 1win, did you already know the company?
Victor Coringa: I knew that 1win was involved in eSports already, right? And then one of the owners of LOUD came to me, said that the proposal, the contract had arrived and we studied the platform a little more and I said it would be really cool if that happened. AND. And we’re here today, right?
And what was your reaction when he came to talk to you? How did you react?
Victor Coringa: I wanted to know how I could do this because nowadays for live there are N bureaucracies on how we can present this and everything else to people and the part that I was most anxious about was that they said, 1win knows the your job and they are super good in terms of how you want to present it to your audience, how you will do it on a daily basis, mainly because they know that your focus is entertainment and content.
So today I do my live streams every day, or make a video of my everyday life. I go early in the morning with my guys, we can review without looking like I’m a robot. That to me is really cool. So I said, it’s them.
