FanDuel to launch new television network and streaming platform

FanDuel Group, owned by Flutter Entertainment, will launch a new television network and over-the-top (OTT) digital platform in the US.

Scheduled to launch next month, FanDuel TV will be widely distributed on the linear TV network through operator relationships with major cable and satellite distributors such as Comcast Xfinity, Spectrum, Verizon FIOS, DirectTV, DISH, Cox Communications, FuboTV , YouTubeTV and Hulu.

The FanDuel + OTT platform will be available on direct-to-consumer OTT platforms including Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire, while it will also be free to download for all existing customers with accounts on any of the sports betting, casino, horse racing platforms. or fantasy sports.

Together, FanDuel TV and FanDuel+ become the first linear and digital networks dedicated to sports betting content to launch in the US. “FanDuel TV is the first network designed from the ground up to be watched by phone-in-hand viewers,” said FanDuel Commercial Director Mike Raffensperger.

“We intend for FanDuel TV to be positioned at the junction of live sports and interactive content; Our goal is to provide fans with compelling programming to watch and bet in conjunction with our mobile app.”

FanDuel TV will be a new brand of TVG Network focused on horse racing and will broadcast a variety of content, including a live daily morning show led by Kay Adams, who previously hosted ‘Good Morning Football’ on the NFL Network.

Sports media expert and former NFL punter Pat McAfee and his PMI Network team will also produce content for FanDuel TV, as well as The Ringer Network, a digital network and popular sports and pop culture podcasts.

Meanwhile, FanDuel’s sports betting show ‘More Ways to Win’ will continue to be hosted by former ESPN anchor Lisa Kerney, offering sports betting reviews and information about sports leagues.

FanDuel TV also aims to become the new home of international basketball in the US. As part of a licensing agreement with Sportradar, FanDuel TV and FanDuel+ will broadcast over 3,000 hours of live sports, including the Australian National Basketball League, the Chinese Basketball League and the French and German professional leagues.

Additionally, FanDuel TV will follow the predecessor TVG Network by continuing to air horse racing. This covers live coverage of major tracks, spanning Gulfstream, Del Mar, Keeneland, Pimlico and Santa Anita, and major events.
