Genius Sports signs agreement to increase global footvolley growth

The Genius Sports Group, a provider of official sports data and technology for the sports, betting and media sectors, has entered into an exclusive partnership with the Pro Footvolley Tour to drive the growth of the sport.

GeniusLive, the group’s award-winning live streaming solution, will power the Pro Footvolley Tour’s first live video platform, connecting this unique sport, which combines elements of football and beach volleyball, with new audiences worldwide.

To improve footvolley and generate new revenue, the company obtained rights to distribute official data and video content for all Pro Footvolley Tour events, also providing sports betting services.

Through exclusive bets and media rights, the group will also lead the expansion of the Pro Footvolley Tour’s network of sponsors, business and public partners. The Pro Footvolley Tour is the main professional footvolley league, having broadcast over 500 hours since 2012.

Agreement with Genius Sports will increase visibility of the sport

In 2021, the schedule will feature 26 official stops with a ‘World Series of Footvolley’ to be produced each summer. This partnership adds up to more than 170 thousand official rights events that the company offers its sports betting clients annually.
