The iGaming Brazil portal deeply regrets the death of journalist and writer Paulo Cesar Figueiredo Cardoso Júnior, at the age of 59, this Wednesday (05), in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
He worked at the iGaming Group, contributing articles about the world of online gaming, lotteries, sports betting, eSports, cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana), NFTs, Metaverse, business, legislation and events related to the area for the iGaming Brazil and Cripto Magazine portals since January 2024.
Graduated in Journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ) in 2002, he completed a postgraduate degree in Market Communication at the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM-RJ) in 2006.
Throughout his career, Paulo worked on radio, newspapers and book publishing as a reviewer, in addition to working in advertising agencies as a writer, business strategist and social media. It also covered projects in the environmental, cinema and electrical energy areas, as well as major events such as the Olympics and Carnival.
More than an extremely competent and dedicated professional, Paulo Cardoso was a generous person, always willing to help and share knowledge. His departure leaves a huge gap in journalism and in the hearts of those who had the joy of knowing him.
The iGaming Brazil portal expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends and co-workers, wishing comfort in this moment of pain.
The farewell will take place at the São Francisco Xavier Crematorium, at the Caju Cemetery, in Rio de Janeiro, this Friday (07), from 10am to 12pm.
