In two weeks time, the Mega-Sena da Virada draw will be held by Caixa Econômica Federal. The special contest, which takes place every year on December 31, will award a record amount estimated at R$ 450 million.
To try to win the millionaire prize, it is worth paying attention to the numbers that came out the most in the history of the contest. Over the thirteen prizes drawn so far, number 10 was the most drawn, appearing four times, after it numbers 03, 05, 20 and 36 were drawn three times each. Following the frequency of the most drawn numbers, 16 more appeared twice, namely: 02 – 11 – 17 – 18 – 22 – 34 – 35 – 37 – 38 – 40 – 41 – 42 – 51 – 53 – 56 – 58.
This contest is number 2,550 and will be held on December 31st. The Mega da Virada main prize does not accumulate, that is, if there is no winning bet in the main bracket with six numbers correct, the prize is divided among the second bracket winners – those who matched five tens – and so on.
Mega da Virada was created in 2009 and has never had a single prize winner. In 2020 only two bets shared the prizes. In 2018, there was the highest number of winners, where 52 people had to share a prize pool of more than BRL 300 million.
