Lottopar participates in the first meeting of the Sinapo Forum in Brasília

The director-president of the Lottery of the State of Paraná (Lottopar), Daniel Romanowski, and the chief of staff, Pablo Wosniacki, participated this Wednesday (13) in the first ordinary meeting of the National Betting System (Sinapo), held in Brasília.

The Prizes and Betting Secretariat (SPA) of the Ministry of Finance organized the meeting and brought together state representatives and supervisory bodies to discuss measures linked to the integrity, supervision and security of the betting market in Brazil.

The creation of the forum seeks to bring together states that already operate lotteries or intend to operate in the sector. Therefore, Sinapo intends to assist in the construction of regulatory criteria aimed at the operation of betting in the country.

During the program, participants discussed topics related to operator authorization and activity monitoring. Additionally, anti-money laundering, sporting integrity and responsible gaming policies.

The meeting also discussed institutional cooperation mechanisms between the states and the Federal Government, in addition to discussing normative guidelines for the next steps of the national forum.

What topics were debated at the Sinapo Forum

Lottopar presented initiatives implemented by Paraná in structuring a regulated environment aimed at security and transparency of operations.

The state highlighted experiences linked to the certification of operators and systems, in addition to actions aimed at preventing money laundering and strengthening responsible gaming.

In this context, Paraná appears among the states that have developed specific measures to monitor and control the regulated betting sector.

The municipality’s participation in the meeting also reinforced the state’s position in national discussions on market integrity and combating illegal practices.

Forum expands integration between states and supervisory bodies

The meeting also opened space for the exchange of experiences between participants. State representatives shared ongoing projects, inspection models and strategies aimed at monitoring lottery operations and sports betting.

Furthermore, the meeting sought to expand integration between the bodies involved in regulating the sector. With this, Sinapo intends to strengthen the alignment of public policies related to the betting market in Brazil.
