An important decision was published in the Official Gazette of the Union on December 5, 2024. The Secretary of Prizes and Bets of the Ministry of Treasury, using the powers conferred on him by Ordinance MF No. 267 of 2023, announced the appointment of Rodrigo Simões Lopes Peixoto for the position of Commercial Promotions Supervision Coordinator.
Thus, Rodrigo Peixoto, Administrative Technical Analyst with Siape registration no. 1795257, will be responsible for the Executive Commissioned Function of Inspection Coordinator, in FCE code 1.10. Therefore, this position will be linked to the General Coordination of Inspection of Commercial Promotions of the Subsecretariat of Monitoring and Inspection of the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets.
The new designation comes into force immediately, with the publication of the ordinance. Therefore, this reinforces the Ministry of Treasury’s commitment to ensuring efficient supervision of trade promotions in the country.

THE SECRETARY OF PRIZES AND BETS OF THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE, in the use of the powers conferred on him by art. 10 of Ordinance MF No. 267, of April 26, 2023, published in the Official Gazette of the Union of April 27, 2023, and other information contained in SEI Process No. 19995.008597/2024-99, resolves:
Art. 1 Appoint RODRIGO SIMOES LOPES PEIXOTO, Administrative Technical Analyst, Siape registration no. 1795257, to exercise the Executive Commissioned Function of Commercial Promotions Inspection Coordinator, code FCE 1.10, of the General Coordination of Commercial Promotions Inspection of the Subsecretariat of Monitoring and Inspection of the Prizes and Betting Secretariat of the Ministry of Treasury.
Art. 2 This Ordinance comes into force on the date of its publication.
