Kambi signs partnership with Racing and Wagering Western Australia

Kambi expanded its worldwide offering by becoming a sports betting partner of Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA).

Under the long-term agreement, Kambi will supply its sports betting technology and services to RWWA, which will update its point of sale betting system and the TABtouch online brand.

RWWA, the state horse and greyhound authority and responsible for the Totalizator Agency Board (TAB), will be able to take advantage of the new partner’s betting services to complement its product.

In addition, the running authority, which has a network of more than 320 retail agencies, also distributes profits made through its businesses to support the national running industry.

Kambi’s CEO Kristian Nylén said: “This is a strategic and very important partnership for Kambi. The agreement highlights Kambi’s ability to improve our technology to meet the needs of any operator and regulated market. And, we are excited to play a crucial role in building RWWA’s online and retail success. ”

RWWA CEO Ian Edwards also spoke about the trade agreement. “As an organization that funds the racing industry, RWWA is focused on maximizing its profits and aiming to serve the long-term interests of the entire industry. And, we believe that this partnership will help to generate better results ”.

Kambi signs deal with Dutch casino operator

The recent agreement continues Kambi’s global partnerships, which include signing a long-term deal with Dutch casino operator JVH Gaming & Entertainment last month, with the service expected to launch later this year on the local online market.

In January, a spokesman for the sports betting supplier said that the internal expectation is that revenue for the fourth quarter of 2020 will increase by up to 80% compared to the previous year, to be between € 46 million and € 48 million.
