The SBC Summit Latinoamérica ended its latest edition at the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino with a notable 33% increase in the number of participants, reflecting the event’s growing influence in the region.
Launch of SBC Summit Americas in 2025
Driven by increased demand, the summit will join SBC Summit North America in 2025 to launch as the expansive SBC Summit Americas, debuting in Fort Lauderdale May 13-15. Bringing together leaders from North, Central and South America, this enhanced event will serve as the premier hub for collaboration and innovation in the sports betting and iGaming scene in the Americas.
Over the past four years, the SBC Summit Latinoamérica has fostered meaningful connections and strengthened collaboration across the industry, becoming essential for the market. Andrea Rossi, Betsson‘s commercial director for Latin America, classified the event as a “must see” for those looking to stay informed about the latest trends and regional developments.
Fernando Garita, CEO of Betsul, echoed the sentiment, referring to the summit as “the most important event for Latin America”, highlighting it as the main opportunity to connect with key participants, address industry challenges and shape the future of the market.
Thus, among the 70 exhibitors at SBC Summit Latinoamérica, ProntoPaga achieved great success at the busy exhibition. “We came with clear objectives and, this season, we met all the requirements”, said Elisa Jordan, Commercial Director.
Many attendees highlighted SBC’s unique ability to foster both business growth and personal connections. Alex Fonseca, CEO of Superbet Brasil, highlighted the value of networking, stating: “Networking is always great and saves me a lot of traveling, as I can meet all my suppliers and partners in one place.”
The importance of networking at the SBC Summit Latinoamérica
Iliana Pineda, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at Wplay.co, also praised the event for its effective networking atmosphere, noting that “SBC events create environments where networking is fun and highly productive.”
This unique combination of casual and professional interaction allowed attendees to connect in a meaningful way with key regional players. So, with a focus on Latin America, the event offered what Cecilia Valdés, Executive President of the Asociación Chilena de Casinos de Juego, called “a crucial meeting point for the Latin American sector, both for land-based casinos and online casinos.”
So, from the high-energy opening at the DAER Day Club to Wednesday’s iconic gathering at Chase Stadium and the Halloween-themed closing party, SBC’s networking events were more than just social gatherings.
They were essential to fostering meaningful connections. As Jordan noted, “At SBC Summit Latinoamérica, half the experience is in the networking events. This is where real connections happen. And, of course, Latin Americans know how to throw a great party, so that’s exactly where you want to be.”
With an agenda that left no stone unturned, the SBC Summit Latinoamérica set a new standard, promoting impactful discussions and valuable insights. The lineup of 200 speakers included icons such as:
- football legend René Higuita
- racing driver Tatiana Calderón
- Brazilian senator Irajá Abreu
- Yuri Guerra, general director of the General Directorate of Casino Games and Slot Machines of Peru
All speakers bringing experience to cover all facets of the gaming scene.
SBC creates expectations for the next event

“Therefore, we look forward to launching SBC Summit Americas in 2025. We want to expand this spirit of collaboration across North, Central and South America. We want to create a unified hub for innovation and progress in the sports betting and iGaming sectors.”
