Superbet se une à Associação Europeia de Jogos e Apostas

The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) welcomes Superbet Group, one of Europe’s leading sports betting and entertainment companies, as its newest member.

The partnership solidifies EGBA’s position as the leading voice for Europe’s online gaming sector and deepens its reach across the continent.

The importance of Superbet’s membership to the EGBA

Superbet’s membership of the EGBA reflects its commitment to industry responsibility and raising industry standards. Superbet will contribute to the ongoing work of the EGBA, including:

  • Responsible advertising
  • Safer Bets
  • Guidelines for implementing anti-money laundering rules

This comes as the new European Commission is expected to propose legislation that will affect EU (European Union) digital sectors, including betting.

Albert Simsensohn, Chief Operating Officer at Superbet Group, welcomed the new partnership: “This is an important chapter in our journey, as becoming a member of the EGBA demonstrates our commitment to nurturing sustainable growth for our company. Therefore, we also adhere to the highest standards of compliance in all our markets.”

“We are prepared to work closely with EGBA. We will adopt industry best practices and ensure our industry operates in a fair and appropriately regulated environment.”

Maarten Haijer, General Secretary of the EGBA, added: “We are delighted to welcome the Superbet Group to the EGBA. This will further strengthen our representation in the sector. Superbet’s experience and market focus will be invaluable to EGBA.”

“The company continues to work to establish high standards in the industry and promote a safe and competitive online gambling environment in Europe. We look forward to working with our new colleagues.”
