WeAreGame is pleased to share the exciting news that it has been nominated for the ‘Industry Rising Star of the Year’ award at the BiS SiGMA Americas Awards. The annual awards began in 2016 and will be held in São Paulo, Brazil on June 14, 2023. The ceremony is part of the SiGMA Americas in association with the Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS), which takes place from June 14-18.
The event will offer top-notch networking opportunities across all areas of the betting industry, with the chance to celebrate and share the progress and achievements made over the last twelve months. WeAreGame will join other nominees and judges from big names in the industry, including iGaming Brazil and Sportradar, and past event winners include Pragmatic Play and Evolution.
A big name in Brazilian iGaming
Everyone at WeAreGame and the WeAreTechnology Group is thrilled to be nominated and recognized for the progress the entire team has made over the last twelve months. This exciting news comes less than a week after WeAreGame was nominated for two awards at the 2023 AffPapa iGaming Awards: ‘Platform Provider of the Year’ and ‘Slots Provider of the Year’.
The nomination for the ‘Industry Rising Star of the Year’ award at the BiS SiGMA Americas Awards is an excellent recognition of its significant presence and experience in the Latin American market, especially in Brazil. The company specializes in the Brazilian market, creating localized content, designed and refined to suit each platform, with support and communications in Portuguese, so nothing is lost in translation.
WeAreGame is already present in one of the biggest betting operators in Brazil – Pixbet. They are the name behind several Brazilian brands, including PixBet.tv, PixJogos, PixBet Fantasy 5, F12 Mania, FazOBetAí, FazOBetAí Palpite, Greenbets, brbet.com and MCWEsportes, with many more to be announced soon.
Tim Scoffham, CEO of WeAreTechnology Group, said: “We are delighted to have been selected for the ‘Industry Rising Star of the Year’ award at the SiGMA Americas Awards. Latin America is one of our key markets, so gaining recognition in an event like this is a testament to the efforts of the entire team over the past year.”
“Our brand is stronger than ever and we look forward to expanding into the Latin American market and establishing ourselves with even stronger roots in Brazil. We wish all nominees the very best of luck,” added Scoffham.
The illustrious gala also incorporates a charity auction, with the proceeds going to the SiGMA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the SiGMA Group, whose mission is to “Empower underprivileged individuals and communities around the world through fundraising activities, charity work, educational programs and skills training”.
The money raised contributes to education, health and awareness of the underprivileged. Past accomplishments include building a school in Ethiopia and current projects include building a school in Bonga. Decent projects indeed.
