Flutter Brazil, the group that owns the operations of Betnacional and Betfair, will promote the “Flutter Brazil Game” on the 20th and 27th of May, through the semi-final of the Copa do Nordeste between Sport Recife, which has Betnacional as its main sponsor, and Fortaleza, which will have sponsorship from Betfair for the decisive phase of the regional tournament.
More than the dispute on the field, the company will use the match as a platform to expand messages about the importance of Responsible Gaming, balance and safe entertainment in the betting sector.
The initiative reflects Flutter Brazil’s objectives established for 2026, aimed at building its brand, reputation and consolidating a serious, transparent operation aligned with the guidelines of the regulated market in the country.
Controlling two of the biggest brands in the sector in Brazil, the group completed its first year on national soil last May 14, combining deep local expertise and regional management with the scale and rigorous global governance standards of Flutter Entertainment.
Flutter Brazil understands that responsible entertainment is a non-negotiable pillar and sees betting strictly as a form of recreational activity and should not be seen as a source of income.
What will Flutter’s initiative be like in the game between Sport Recife x Fortaleza
“The Flutter Brazil ecosystem was built with the purpose of raising the standards of integrity, security and responsibility in the Brazilian betting environment”, says Alvaro Garcia, CMO of Flutter Brazil.
“By integrating Betnacional and Betfair sponsorships at a time of enormous visibility, regional and decisive appeal in a successful competition, we reaffirm that conscious gaming and balance are not just isolated speeches, but integral parts of our operational philosophy and DNA of our communication”, he adds.
Reinforcing its actions in favor of responsible gambling and following current regulations in the country, Betnacional has been developing user awareness and protection initiatives, including the “Play as a Senior” campaign, led by Vini Jr., aimed at promoting safe practices in online entertainment.
The company also maintains partnerships with institutions such as IBJR and EBAC, actively collaborating to develop educational, prevention and player support actions.
To ensure safety, the company continually invests in technology, education and consumer protection. Flutter Brazil platforms provide configurable mechanisms throughout the player’s journey, allowing users to establish deposit limits, loss limits, usage time limits and even voluntary self-exclusion.
The action involving the game between Sport x Fortaleza also reinforces that the advancement of regulation has raised the level of maturity of the sector in Brazil, in addition to the importance of operators committed to transparency, innovation, technology and responsibility.
