In an official note, the team confirmed the termination of the partnership with BetVip. “Sport Club do Recife and BetVip announce, by mutual agreement, the end of the partnership between club and company. Completing a successful cycle that marked the club’s triumphant return to Series A of the Brazilian Championship.

BetVip wishes the club continued success and ensures that our passion and commitment to the sport remains firm, always seeking to support and encourage the best in Brazilian football.

Sport, in turn, is grateful for the partnership with the company, which walked alongside the club in a victorious season, winning the Pernambucano Championship and access to Series A of the Brazilian Championship, in addition to several advances off the field.” .

Agreement between Sport and Betnacional could exceed R$72 million

According to GE, Leão da Ilha will sign an agreement valid for the next two years with the online betting platform. Considered the biggest contract in Sport’s history, this master sponsorship should yield up to R$72 million for the club.

However, to reach this mark, the team needs to achieve some sporting goals. A considerable minimum amount has already been guaranteed to Sport’s coffers.

It is worth remembering that Betnacional was the team’s major partner between 2022 and 2024. The contract signing will take place in the next few days.

2025 season

Sport Recife will have four competitions this 2025 season: Campeonato Pernambucano, Copas do Nordeste and Brasil, in addition to the return to Série A of the Brazilian Championship.

With a calendar full of commitments, the team’s management defined some sporting objectives. Among the goals is winning a place in an international competition next year.
