Five years since launch of affiliates Annual GGR grows 60% Affilka by SOFTSWISS takes stock of 2022

Affilka by SOFTSWISS celebrates a five-year partnership with its first customer – N1 Casino. On this landmark occasion, the team behind the award-winning affiliate tracking platform reflects on the product’s performance and reviews the most significant updates for 2022.

With its customer base increased by 60% and 56,000 new affiliate accounts in 2022, Affilka now provides reliable support for over 200 active brands. In addition, affiliates brought 10 million new players to operators in the same period.

Afilka’s growth in numbers

Overall, 2022 has been a rewarding year for Affilka with the following metrics:

  • Total affiliate GGR increased by 60%;
  • The total amount of player deposits increased by 53%;
  • Total affiliate payments increased by 46%;

In addition, the previous year was awarded by the platform. SiGMA Balkans & CIS recognized Affilka as the best affiliate tracking software of 2022.

Angelika Antonova, Head of Sales at Affilka by SOFTSWISS, comments: “We have come a long way since we signed our first client, N1 Casino, and we are very proud of what we have achieved. Not only are we continuing to grow our platform’s features, but we’re also improving our partner retention skills.”

“This is evidenced by the fact that N1 Partners Group is still our active customer running six projects on our affiliate platform. Affilka shows significant customer growth each year and we are confident that we will perform even better in 2023,” he added.

Major product updates

First, customers can now take advantage of a CPL commission model. Compared to the CPA option, which requires specific actions from players at the time of registration, the CPL model includes payments for all registrations with the possibility to exclude commissions under certain terms. For example, if a player is not verified or has another account with the casino.

Another significant update is the Reports API tool, which gives access to real-time statistics on brands, marketing campaigns and player activity through easy-to-use API calls. The tool makes the reporting process faster and more transparent, providing partners with detailed project data to make timely adjustments if necessary.

In 2022, the Affilka team made a major addition to their toolbox by launching the Poker Module, which expanded the platform’s reach by enabling online poker sites in addition to online casinos and sportsbooks.

Affilka’s frontend features have also undergone changes. The platform now offers a flexible app interface configurator and partner program customization to match key brand looks. The most demanding customers can use the Frontend API and build an entire interface from scratch.

What’s next for 2023?

Despite the fact that the cryptocurrency market faced certain changes in 2022, the Affilka team highlights the growing interest of partners in supporting cryptocurrency and is expanding the functionality of the affiliate platform in this direction. Another trend, based on Affilka data, shows that more and more affiliates have chosen stablecoins like USDT as the payout currency for affiliates.

Anastasia Borovaya, Head of Affilka at SOFTSWISS, highlights: “The Affilka team is constantly improving the functionality of the platform to meet market demands. For those who prefer cryptocurrencies, in 2022 we launched a cryptocurrency affiliate withdrawal option in partnership with CoinsPaid’s Cryptoprocessing.com.”

“Previously, partners could make payments to affiliates’ crypto wallets only in digital currencies. The new feature allows payments to be made from operators’ trust bank accounts to affiliates’ crypto wallets. For example, it is possible to pay EUR to USDT or USD to ETH wallets”, he concluded.

In addition, in 2023 operators would look for tools that generate detailed player reports and forecasts of public behavior, in order to be able to respond quickly to change. Another typical trend of Affilka partners is to obtain local and exotic licenses such as Greek, Bulgarian and Comorian.
