Sportradar Integrity Services, a division of the sports data and technology company, has struck a deal with the International Golf Federation (IGF). Under the terms of the initial two-year agreement, Sportradar will provide betting monitoring through its Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) for various IGF competitions.

This will include the 2022 and 2023 editions of the Espirito Santo Trophy, as well as the Eisenhower Trophy, with the former tournament starting at Le Golf National and Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Brèteche near Paris this Wednesday the 24th.

IGF Executive Director Antony Scanlon said: “The International Golf Federation is fully committed against the integrity threats our sport faces, and by partnering with Sportradar Integrity Services, we are putting ourselves in the best position to maintain our competitions free from such concerns”.

“UFDS’s betting monitoring solution will provide vital oversight of the global betting market, with their integrity experts on hand to alert us to any irregularities that may arise,” added Scanlon.

Andreas Krannich, General Manager of Integrity Services at Sportradar, commented: “In recent years, we have witnessed an increase in match-fixing issues, with a wider range of sports targeted as part of this. As such, Sportradar is pleased to partnership with the International Golf Federation”.

“Golf has a large audience around the world and we look forward to helping protect International Golf Federation competitions from all integrity-related risks for years to come,” concluded Krannich.
