Golden Nugget Casino Lake Charles and DraftKings will jointly launch a new face-to-face bookmaker in the state of Louisiana.
Players over 21 will have access to sports betting in Bayou State through professional, collegiate and other sports leagues at the DraftKings sportsbook located inside the Golden Nugget Casino Lake Charles.
The new location, which will be inside a part of the Blue Martini bar, has six ticket/ticket booths and a total of 30 self-service kiosks; plans are underway for a permanent venue with seating for around 300 customers, quote boards and large screen displays.
The 10,000-square-foot permanent site is expected to open in Q3 2022. DraftKings also plans to launch its online sportsbook in Louisiana at a later date, pending licenses and regulatory approvals.
