BetMGM-launches-application-applying-sports-on-Mississippi

The new BetMGM app will use geolocation technology to allow ‘Gold Strike’ guests to place pre-match, live, future and parlor bets from any mobile device while in the casino.

The app will also be integrated into MGM Resorts’ ‘M Life Rewards’ program, meaning users can exchange their plays for experiences at MGM properties across the US, including ‘Gold Strike’ and ‘Beau Rivage’ in Mississippi, as well as the ‘Bellagio’ and ‘MGM Grand’ in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“We’ve had great success with the opening of the BetMGM Book Bar & Grill at Gold Strike and are excited to complement our retail offering with the launch of the BetMGM mobile app in Mississippi,” said BetMGM Executive Director Adam Greenblatt.

“Sports fans at MGM’s world-class resort in Tunica can now use their mobile devices to engage with the teams they love, while earning rewards for their gameplay.”

The launch comes as BetMGM faces an uncertain future after FanDuel last week submitted a $22 billion takeover bid for Entain.

Other BetMGM movements

BetMGM recently announced partnerships with Gila River Hotels & Casinos and Arizona Cardinals to launch online and retail sports betting in Arizona.

This partnership establishes its first relationship with the State of Arizona, which allows the company to proceed with plans to launch its retail and online platform, once sports betting launches are legalized.

BetMGM plans to open sportsbook on the three Gila River properties, adjacent to the Arizona Cardinals home, State Farm Stadium.
