Gamanza Group AG, which belongs to Magnus Lindberg and Grand Casino Baden AG, will be divided: the two shareholders who own 50% each will take over two business units and develop them for their specific target audiences. The transaction will strengthen the strategy of the respective businesses.
The Stadtcasino Baden Group already owns, through the Grand Casino Baden AG, 50% of the capital of Gamanza, founded by the Swedish businessman of iGaming, Magnus Lindberg. The group creates and distributes software that forms the technological basis for the operation of an online casino.
This includes the platform (Player Account Management System), which manages online player accounts and provides interfaces to other software modules and online games.
Another element is the “Customer Engagement Platform”, a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool that takes care of marketing and communication activities with the customer in real time.
In addition, Gamanza develops its own online casino games, as well as exclusive solutions for sports betting operators. For this reason, the board sees great potential in all areas of the business.
Sports bets to be transferred to new Magnus Lindberg company
The Stadtcasino Baden Group and Magnus Lindberg agreed that the excellent initial position of the Gamanza Group can be better taken advantage of by the two proprietary shareholders when dividing the company’s arms.
Thus, the game development and sports betting segments will be owned by Magnus Lindberg and will continue operations under his management. Stadtcasino Baden will take over the Player Account Management and Customer Relationship Management System and will continue to manage them under the Gamanza Group brand.
Strong growth of the Gamanza Group in the past two years
As part of the division, Grand Casino Baden is taking responsibility for around 60 Gamanza employees working in offices in Slovenia and Costa Rica, while another 30 employees in Serbia, Sweden and Malta will be headed by Magnus Lindberg .
Gamanza has grown rapidly in the last 24 months. The team was originally expanded from ten people to 90 and the group is now the market leader in Switzerland as a technology partner for online casinos.
In Switzerland, five online casinos already work with the Gamanza platform. Two of them are online, three are under development. However, both parties agreed not to disclose the financial amounts involved in this transaction.
