Skrill announces Juventus's Paulo Dybala as brand ambassador

Digital payments company Skrill, owned by Paysafe (which works closely with the gaming and betting industry), has chosen Argentine soccer player Paulo Dybala as the brand’s new ambassador. Currently, Dybala defends Juventus, from Italy.

He signed a two-year contract, which will take him to represent the brand to football fans around the world. Dybala made his first appearance with the company in a campaign for TV and digital media to help promote the digital wallet’s prepaid MasterCard.

“I am very happy and proud to be part of the Skrill family. I am really interested in finding out more about how Skrill can help me pay online, send money to my friends and buy and sell cryptocurrencies, ”said Dybala.

The Argentine player added: “Having the flexibility that Skrill can offer is very useful for someone like me, who is always on the move. And, I also love to earn loyalty points on transactions whenever I use my Skrill card ”.

Skrill is looking to get closer to other brands in the football world

The option to join Dybala is based on the company’s business with other football brands, such as the recent agreement to become the official payments partner of AC Milan, a football club also from Italy.

Lorenzo Pellegrino, the company’s CEO, justified his choice for the Argentine star: “Skrill’s many features allow you to manage your money on the go, easily and securely. Dybala is the perfect ambassador for our brand, reflecting our values, such as speed of delivery and our focus on providing world-class service ”.

Pellegrino concluded: “We are looking forward to a successful collaboration to share our many benefits with football fans across the globe.”
