Rapid growth and demand in the Brazilian market.
When asked about the factors that led BiS SiGMA South America to establish itself as the largest iGaming event in Latin America in just a few years, Valente was direct. According to him, the main driver of this growth was the size and expansion of the industry in Brazil.
Consequently, the event has become a platform that reflects the demands of the market and society.
Valente highlighted: “One of the main growth factors that has brought BiS to the level it is at today is the size of the industry, which has grown tremendously. Brazil has this demand. Therefore, BiS ends up being the stage and reflection of what the market and society demand.”
AI, machine learning, and data dominate the 2026 agenda.
Regarding the innovations expected for the 2026 edition, the executive pointed to clear trends. Firstly, he mentioned that Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning will be central to the discussions.
Furthermore, data analysis will solidify as an essential strategic tool for the sector. Valente also mentioned that Customer Relationship Management (CRM) will gain increasing relevance.
On the other hand, he acknowledged that regulatory issues remain fundamental. After all, the Brazilian government must release statistics and information from the previous year, fueling discussions about compliance and best practices.
Alessandro Valente stated: “The innovations that I envision will be the focus of debate during BiS 2026, for sure, we can mention: AI, machine learning, all technology focused on AI and also data for our industry, which is one of the most important things.”
Regarding the strong presence of global brands at the event, the co-founder was emphatic. According to him, Brazil has become the “hot spot” for international investors.
Unlike complex markets such as Asia and the United States, Brazil offers cultural proximity to Europe and enormous growth potential. Valente explained that not only operators, but the entire supply chain has already established itself in the country.
Therefore, events like BiS SiGMA South America act as a bridge between the local ecosystem and foreign capital. This combination of factors positions the Brazilian market as having the greatest potential for expansion in the world.
Social impact, professionalization, and ESG commitment.
In addition to networking and business opportunities, Alessandro Valente highlighted the event’s impact on the professionalization of the sector.
Initially, he highlighted that BiS SiGMA South America serves as a platform for discussion between business leaders, government, and society. In this way, the event contributes to the development of more effective public policies.
However, the executive revealed less publicized initiatives that demonstrate social commitment. For example, the event adopts ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) practices, including recycling materials and using sustainable resources in all parties and awards ceremonies.
More importantly, Valente mentioned Faculdade da Luta, a social project led by Roberto Gallo and linked to Centurion FC. Currently, the initiative serves more than 400 young people in Heliópolis without using government resources.
All funding comes from the SiGMA Foundation, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to social inclusion. “Our event is increasingly becoming a 100% ESG event. Governance and inclusion are now integrated into our event.”
Regional expansion and new event formats
Regarding plans for 2026, the executive revealed strategies for territorial expansion. Recently, the organization held a satellite event in
Therefore, BiS SiGMA plans to hold new events in Brasília and other regions of the country. These meetings will be smaller in size and focused on specific themes or audiences in each location. The main objective is to demystify the industry and bring the public closer to specialized content.
Additionally, Valente announced that a new branch of the Fighting Academy will soon be inaugurated in the interior of Brazil, expanding the reach of social projects linked to the event.
Expectations for the regulated market and the fight against illegality.
Finally, regarding the sector’s growth expectations, Alessandro Valente expressed optimism. He emphasized that combating illegal gambling is fundamental and needs to continue progressing. In this way, Brazil can show the world that the betting sector is here to stay as a positive and entertaining activity.
At the same time, he highlighted that innovations and new certified games are constantly arriving in the country. Furthermore, emerging technologies promise to further transform the user experience in the coming years.
“Expectations are as positive as possible. We have increasingly seen the fight against illegal gambling, which is fundamental. Brazil needs to show the world and its society that gambling is here to stay because it is something positive and fun.” “, concluded.
