The classic question “What would you do if you won the Mega-Sena?” It’s easy for many to answer. After all, who hasn’t dreamed of spending a prize of almost R$3 million?

But, if you really won, do you know how to withdraw the money?

11 bettors in the pool have not yet claimed the prize

In Várzea Paulista (SP), half of the new millionaires in the Mega-Sena 2,764 contest, held last Tuesday (20), have not yet claimed their prize.

According to Caixa Econômica Federal, of the 22 parties to the Bolão, 11 people have already withdrawn the amount, totaling around 2.8 million reais.

Those lucky enough to have not yet claimed their prize must do so within 90 days from the draw date. In other words, Várzea Paulista players have until November 17th to claim the prize.

After this period, the amount will be transferred to the Student Financing Fund (Fies). See the numbers drawn: 20 – 31 – 34 – 38 – 42 – 51.

How to redeem the Mega-Sena prize

So, to redeem, Caixa specifies that the winner can collect the prize at any accredited lottery outlet or at Caixa branches. Therefore, if the gross value of the prize is greater than R$2,259.20, payment is only made at Caixa branches.

Therefore, it is necessary to present an original identification document with CPF and the original receipt for the winning bet. According to Caixa, amounts equal to or greater than R$10,000 will be paid within at least two business days after presentation at a Caixa branch.

But the profit is nominal and linked to the CPF of the winning bet’s registration. Therefore, only the holder of the CPF associated with the registration or his representative will be able to receive the prize.
