Intralot, through its regional subsidiaries, has renewed its contracts with lottery operators in the Netherlands and Ireland until 2027.
Furthermore, the company introduced new services in both markets, further strengthening its presence in these countries.
Netherlands
In the Netherlands, Intralot Benelux has extended its contract with the Nederlandse Loterij Organisatie (NLO) until June 2027. This agreement allows Intralot to continue offering operations and management services for Toto, the NLO’s retail betting brand.
Toto, with more than 4,000 retail access points across the country, is also the main sponsor of the Dutch football league, Toto KNVB Beker.
As part of the new agreement, NLO will receive the Intralot Orion sports betting platform. This platform covers a wide range of sports betting events, including horse racing, greyhound racing, virtual and pre-recorded games.
Additionally, Intralot Photon terminals will provide trading, risk management, monitoring and performance tracking services for Toto games.
Ireland
In Ireland, Intralot Ireland has renewed its contract with Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI) until November 2027. This arrangement allows Intralot to continue supporting the operator through its advanced central gaming system, which is integrated across the network of 4,300 terminals.
In addition to retail hotspots, Intralot will expand its services to online customers, offering support on both mobile and web-based platforms.
This expansion aims to ensure that PLI continues to meet the needs of its customers in an increasingly digital market.
Lottery technological expansion
Intralot’s lottery division has had a busy year. In June, the company announced the successful transition of the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) retail lottery system to the LotosX Omni ecosystem.
This cloud-based technology platform marks BCLC as one of the first lotteries in the world to adopt a fully cloud-based system.
