Caixa Econômica Federal is about to hold contest 2,691 of the Mega-Sena, with an estimated prize pool of R$97 million.
The lottery draw takes place this Thursday, the 22nd, at 8 pm (Brasília time), and Caixa will broadcast it live on social media.
How to participate in Mega-Sena
To participate in the Mega-Sena and have the chance to win these millions, you need to match the 6 numbers drawn.
But don’t worry, even if you match 4 or 5 numbers out of the 60 available on the betting sheet, you can still win significant prizes.
To enter the race to dream of becoming a millionaire, simply select 6 to 20 numbers on the betting sheet. You can choose your numbers manually or opt for Surpresinha, where the system randomly chooses the numbers for you.

Detailed awards
The gross prize corresponds to 43.35% of the collection. Thus, of this portion, Caixa distributes 35% among Sena’s correctors, 19% to Quina’s and 19% to Quadra’s.
In addition, 22% is accumulated for the final 0 or 5 competitions. And, finally, 5% is reserved for the first band – Sena – of Mega da Virada.
Receiving the prize
If you are one of the lucky winners, you can receive your prize at any accredited lottery outlet or at Caixa Econômica Federal branches.
It is important to highlight that, if the gross premium exceeds R$2,259.20, payment will be made exclusively at Caixa.
This requires the presentation of original proof of identity with CPF and the winning bet receipt.
Prizes equal to or greater than R$10,000.00 will be paid within a minimum period of two business days after presentation at a Caixa Econômica branch.
