The Brazilian population does not miss the opportunity to test their luck in the most varied lottery games in the country. Now, the bettor will have one more possibility to try to win a jackpot regularly. A new lottery modality, the ‘+ Milionária’ received the green light from the competent authorities to be launched in the country.
The Federal Government through the Ministry of Economy announced the approval this Monday, 18, of the creation of this new lottery category of Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF). The new service is expected to go into effect on May 2. However, the official date of the first + Millionaire contest has not yet been confirmed.

Apparently, the price of the single bet of this new category will be 6 reais. Each bet will require an indication of one to six tens in matrix 1 and up to 2 numbers in matrix two. The value of each combined or multiple bet will be determined by multiplying the unit price of the single bet (R$ 6).
The ordinance published in the Official Gazette (DOU) indicates the permission to carry out sweepstakes at least once a week, the frequency being at the discretion of Caixa Econômica Federal. In addition, the DOU ordinance also clarifies that the + Millionaire award will not be cumulative.
“The ‘stubborn’ bet is also allowed, which comprises the repetition, in a finite number of consecutive and contiguous contests, of the same forecasts registered in a given contest, from this one”, according to a publication in the Official Gazette of the Union.
