BiS SiGMA South America ended last Thursday (9) with record attendance. According to the founder of the SiGMA Group, Eman Pulis, everything went ‘wonderfully well’ from the first day in Latin America.
“We found wonderful partners: Alessandro Valente, Carlos Cardama and BiS. The marriage worked wonderfully well. And not only that: the regulator and the public in Brazil welcomed us with open arms. We couldn’t be happier to be here in Brazil, now for the fourth consecutive year”, he declared.
For Pulis, the Brazilian market has evolved considerably in recent years. “The current gaming market in Brazil is very different from the one we saw for the first time, five years ago. Today, the market is more mature and regulated. There is less frenzy, but the level of people coming here is high. It is much stronger than before”, he pointed out.
Furthermore, he highlighted that the event is on the right track, growing year after year. “I know we are on the right path and we will continue to redouble our efforts to make the event grow even more”, he highlighted.
SiGMA Group intends to reach new markets in the Americas
Eman Pulis explained that, until last year, SiGMA Americas was held in Brazil. However, the industry itself helped the group to understand that the event in the country needs to focus on the Brazilian market.
“It is produced in Portuguese and aimed at the Brazilian market. The whole world loves traveling to watch this show. The iGaming industry loves coming to this fair to get to know the Brazilian market better”, he explained.
Therefore, Grupo SiGMA decided to hold an event in Mexico City focused on two strategic markets. “We saw an opportunity to launch an event in Mexico City to target two pending markets, which Grupo SiGMA never fully targeted: the North American and Latin American markets,” he stated.
According to Pulis, the event will be promoted in English and Spanish, aggressively targeting the North American market. “We know that Mexicans also love to consume American sports. I see a great opportunity to unite the two worlds: North America and Latin America, in a single event in Mexico City. I can’t wait to open the doors”, he concluded.
