AMIG + Unico Workshop Brings Together iGaming Industry Leaders to Discuss Fraud Prevention

This Tuesday (2), at 7 pm, the Association of Women in the Gaming Industry (AMIG), in partnership with Unico, promotes the workshop “Performance and security in the gambler’s journey”.

The digital event will bring together renowned experts to discuss fraud prevention solutions. Additionally, it will analyze identity verification strategies and security benchmarks, inspired by other sectors, with a focus on the iGaming market.

A strategic meeting for the Gaming sector

With regulations in place and the rapid growth of the betting market in Brazil, the discussion of performance and security has become a priority. The workshop aims to provide a practical and in-depth look at how technology, data, and innovation can work together to enhance the betting experience without sacrificing risk protection.

How to prevent fraud and increase conversion with identity verification under discussion

Opening the program, Gabriela Dias, Product and Security Director at Unico, will present the latest identity verification practices and their direct impact on the performance of iGaming operations.

“In our workshop, we’ll demystify the idea that performance and security can’t go hand in hand, showing how intelligent identity verification becomes the main driver for conversion and combating fraud, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the bettor’s journey,” says Gabriela.

Security benchmarks for iGaming from other sectors on the event’s agenda

Next, the audience will hear the perspective of Felipe Coelho, Director of Data and Fraud Prevention at Unico. Felipe will present comparisons with sectors such as finance and e-commerce, highlighting best practices that can be applied to iGaming.

Carol Silvestre, who will lead the discussion, will be responsible for connecting the content. She will also encourage audience questions and explore the intersections between performance and safety.

AMIG’s vision

The founders of AMIG reinforce the relevance of the initiative, highlighting the impact that debates like this have on the market’s development.

“AMIG’s mission is to increase the presence of women in strategic spaces and contribute to a fairer, more ethical, and more innovative gaming market. The theme of this workshop is vital because security is not just a technical issue, but also a matter of social responsibility and trust among all players in the sector,” emphasizes Bárbara Teles, Founder of AMIG.

“By bringing in experts from Unico, a leading company in digital identity and fraud prevention, we’re able to connect the gaming ecosystem to global best practices. This is an important step for the Brazilian market to grow in a solid, transparent manner, with a focus on the player experience,” adds Natalia Nogues, Founder of AMIG.
