The clock is ticking and the pace quickening as we head towards SPORTEL Talks New York, taking place on Monday, December 16th at the New York Hilton Midtown, Avenue of the Americas. Co-located with the SVG Summit, SPORTEL Talks New York promises to be an unmissable gathering for the broader sports business and technology communities in the heart of Manhattan.

This new and original SPORTEL short format will connect key industry players through an intense afternoon of high-impact executive discussions, thought leadership and engaging networking opportunities.

SPORTEL Talks New York opens with the president of SVG

Opening with a noon networking reception, the afternoon will begin with a welcome from Michael Davies, president of SVG and executive vice president of technical and field operations at Fox Sports, along with Ken Kerschbaumer, editorial director of SVG .

The first of the afternoon’s expert panels will cover “Executive Perspectives on U.S. Sports Leagues and Major Events.” Thus, the discussion will be about how their legacies and brands resonate on a global level.

Case study

The next talk will be about a case study with the pay-per-view digital streaming platform PPV.COM. The theme is sponsored by Kiswe Gold, hosted by Wim Sweldens, co-founder and CMO, and Mark Boccardi, senior vice president of programming and marketing at iNDEMAND/ PPV.COM.

It will detail how they collaborated to launch the platform on the web, mobile devices and smart TV, to attract important content to the platform. Plus, they’ll show you how they acquire, engage, and maintain an ever-growing audience.

The next one will be “It’s a Fan’s World” and will talk about next generation fans using cutting-edge technology.
