Sportsbook Arena das Dunas, a betting company, has formalized a sponsorship agreement with the ABC and América-RN clubs, the main football teams in Rio Grande do Norte.
The contract is already in force and will extend until the end of the 2025 season, including all final stages of the national competitions in which the teams are involved.
The agreement was presented at a press conference held at Arena das Dunas itself. In attendance were Ricardo Ferreira, CEO of Arena das Dunas; Vitor Arteiro, CEO of América’s Football Association (SAF); Luiz Eduardo Machado Pereira, president of ABC; and José Vanildo, president of the Rio Grande do Norte Football Federation (FNF) and vice-president of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
Key points of sponsorship
Among the central points of sponsorship are:
- Direct financial investment in both clubs;
- Brand exposure on the front of ABC and América game shirts.
As Ricardo Ferreira emphasized, the initiative’s purpose is to strengthen the sport in the state. “We believe in the transformative power that sport can have in people’s lives.”
“Our goal with this partnership is to contribute to the development of football in Rio Grande do Norte, as well as to encourage investment in the sport. Investing in sports is investing in the future,” he added..
Furthermore, the addition of Arena das Dunas sportsbook as a sponsor expands its presence in the local sports scene. Since 2024, the company has also sponsored Sociedade Esportiva União, a women’s soccer team that competed in the Série A3 of the Brazilian Championship in 2024 and the Campeonato Potiguar in 2025.
Consequently, the arrival of this new sponsorship contributes to the strengthening of Rio Grande do Norte football. Furthermore, the visibility of partner brands increases, and new opportunities are likely to arise for local teams and regional sports.
