Chances of relegation for Corinthians and other teams in the Brasileirão
The title is always the main dream of all teams at the start of the Brasileirão. However, the reality for some teams with twelve games remaining in the competition is the struggle to remain in the elite of national football.
Thus, Betfair, one of the largest bookmakers in the world and specialist in sports odds, analyzed which clubs have the greatest chances of relegation.
Even with two wins in the last three games, the road is still long for bottom team Atlético-GO. The team from Goiás is 9 points behind the first team outside the relegation zone (Fluminense, with 27). According to the betting site, it is the team most likely to fall to Series B, with 22% (odds of 1.05).
But Corinthians, who are fighting to avoid their second relegation in history, appear fourth, along with Criciúma, with the most chances of falling, with 10% (odds of 2.25). Below, see the full list of all teams’ relegation chances:

Five teams are already “saved” and are fighting for the Brazilian title
The teams at the top of the table such as Botafogo, Fortaleza, Palmeiras, Flamengo and São Paulo are already mathematically out of the risk of falling to Series B.
According to Betfair, the fight for the national title is fierce so far and it is precisely between these five teams.
Botafogo is the favorite for the Brasileirão title, with 34% (odds of 2.5), followed by Palmeiras (30%), Flamengo (20%), Fortaleza (11%) and São Paulo (1%).
