Betsson betting site becomes sponsor of Campeonato Gaúcho

The bookmaker Betsson has signed a sponsorship contract with Campeonato Gaúcho. The partnership was closed with the Gaucho Football Federation (FGF) and takes place days after the betting site has become the main supporter of another state competition, the Campeonato Pernambucano.

As reported in Máquina do Esporte, the situation is not repeated with Gauchão. In addition to brand visibility on commercial properties, Betsson plans to take some action this year. This agreement with the championship in Rio Grande do Sul represents another move by the company aiming at its consolidation in the national market.

“The gauchos have a strong commitment to football. We have already carried out some advertising campaigns in the region, and we feel that being present at the tournament is a great opportunity to reach our target audience”, explained Andre Gelfi, managing partner of Betsson in Brazil.

The president of the Gaucho Football Federation, Luciano Hocsman, also made a point of expressing himself. “The Gaucho Football Federation is honored by this partnership, as it is always important to have the name of great brands associated with the Gaucho Championship, which further values ​​the main competition in our state”, he stressed.

Betsson has been operating in the national territory since 2019. Last year, the company closed a master sponsorship agreement with Íbis, famous for its reputation as the ‘worst team in the world’. And recently, the bookmaker was also announced as the main partner of Pernambucano Betsson 2022.
