NFL icon Drew Brees debuted in the first of three new commercials in PointsBet’s ‘Live Your Bet Life’ ad campaign.

The campaign showcases PointsBet’s technological infrastructure, in-game betting capabilities and strategic approach to the competitive sports betting space.

The online gaming operator partnered with Troika Media Group(TMG), a brand consulting and marketing innovations firm, on a 360-degree campaign, including broadcast, digital, social, outside and inside the stadium.

The TV commercial shows Brees leading his friends to the summit of a snowy mountain, which is actually a local pub, with the group celebrating after completing the final bet of a single game room.

The commercials will be broadcast nationally and in markets where PointsBet is available to users. Additional announcements will be released later this year.

The partnership between Drew Brees and PointsBet

Joining PointsBet as Global Ambassador in July, Brees will star and help develop original content, lead new commercial campaigns and drive marketing and promotional concepts for the operator.

The former NFL quarterback commented, “PointsBet is a clear leader in the gaming space, and the ‘Live Your Bet Life’ campaign is a celebration of what sets our service apart.”

A key commercial for the company’s brand positioning

Brees’ commercials for the ‘Live Your Bet’ Life campaign were directed by Sports Emmy Award winner Dave Laden and produced by Hungry Man Productions, an American/British production company. The special effects were created by f/x house.

TMG’s campaign will leverage its sports experience and fan knowledge to build brand value, maximize reach and increase PointsBet brand recognition. The partnership includes the brand ‘Live Your Bet Life’ as the brand’s positioning in the market.
