SeventySix Capital became the first investment company to join the American Gaming Association’s (AGA) ‘Have a Game Plan’ campaign.

The company, which invests in sports betting startups, will activate the campaign through its social media channels, podcasts and newsletters. SeventySix Capital and AGA will discuss the partnership on the weekly podcast, with the episode ready to air on September 1st.

“We share with AGA the belief that educating consumers about how the fundamentals of responsible sports betting is important to the longevity of the industry,” said Wayne Kimmel, managing partner of SeventySix Capital.

“We are proud to join forces with AGA as the firm’s first investment partner in this effort. We will help promote the ‘Have A Game Plan’ specifically with entrepreneurs who are working to transform the sports betting industry,” concluded Kimmel.

SeventySix Capital joins several companies in ‘Have a Game Plan’ campaign

Launched by the AGA in late 2019, the ‘Have A Game Plan’ aims to educate sports fans about the principles of responsible sports betting.

By becoming an official campaign partner, SeventySix Capital joins groups such as DraftKings, FanDuel, NASCAR, NHL, PGA TOUR, Vegas Golden Knights and UFC, among many others.

“We are excited to be partnering with SeventySix Capital, whose innovative ideas and technologies broadly reach the sports betting landscape,” said Casey Clark, Senior Vice President, Strategic Communications, AGA.

“The success of the legal sports betting industry depends on a shared commitment to responsibility – and as American access to the legal market continues to expand, educating consumers about the importance of responsible gambling is critical.”

“We are proud to welcome another company to the ‘Have a Game Plan’ and appreciate their commitment to keeping players safe and informed,” concluded Clark.
