Betting company, Betano becomes Fluminense's master sponsor

After three years without having a sponsor for the most valued part of their uniform, Fluminense announced the arrival of the Betano bookmaker. According to the club’s official website, the new partnership should last two seasons.

The new commercial arrangement should generate around R$ 16 million for Tricolor’s coffers. Betano’s debut in the Tricolor shirt will be this Wednesday, 2, in a game for the Copa do Brasil against Bragantino, at Maracanã.

As a result of the announcement of the new master sponsorship, the Betmotion bookmaker’s brand will no longer be stamped on the uniform. The company, which had a contract until March 2022, has already issued a note formalizing the end of the partnership.

“We have always affirmed that the club’s appreciation would involve the arrival of a partner who understands the club’s greatness. Betano is here to add,” declared president Mario Bittencourt to the club’s official website.

Bittencourt added: “This shows that, as I have repeated, we are achieving results through a management philosophy that prioritizes organization, environmental stability and the recovery of our finances. We are on the right path, seeking to expand our brand and we will have a Master who understood this project”.

Betano is the master sponsor of Atlético-MG

Betano is an online betting company linked to Kaizen Gaming, a group that has business in Brazil, Germany, Romania, Greece, Cyprus and Portugal. In the national territory, the brand is also on the shirt of Atlético Mineiro.

Abroad, four teams have commercial agreements with the bookmaker: Braga and Marítimo (Portugal) and FCSB, ex-Steaua Bucharest, and Universitatea Craiova (Romania). There are also four other teams that are also supported by the group that owns Betano, but they display the Stoiximan brand on their uniforms: PAOK and Olympiacos (Greece) and Apollon Limassol (Cyprus).

Patos FC, also from Cyprus, does not have the logo of the group of the Greek organization on its uniform, however it promotes marketing actions for the company.
