Interwetten Named Main Sponsor of Greek Super League

Interwetten entered into a multi-year partnership with the Greek Super League to become the new and main sponsor of the competition. With the agreement, this is the first time that the operator is named sponsor of the first division football league, which is the highest level of the sport in the country.

The three-year partnership will begin with the next season (2020/21), lasting until the end of 2022/23. The league, of which the operator is already the official sports betting partner, will be renamed ‘Super League Interwetten’. From then on, the brand will be integrated into the official Greek league logo.

In addition, the Interwetten logo will also be included in the game ball, the league’s official mobile app, as well as in video advertising in all stadiums.

The news accompanies the officialization of last month’s extended sponsorships with German Bundesliga clubs, TSG Hoffenheim and Vfl Wolfsburg, until at least 2023.

The chairman of the Interwetten Board of Directors, Dominik Beier, said: “Greece is and remains a very important market for us. Therefore, we want to continue investing in sports here and expand our position “.

Beier added: “The Greek Super League nomination right is the most valuable sporting partnership that exists in Greece. Our goal is to offer our customers the best product on the market ”.
