Detroit Lions Closes with BetMGM for Official Sports Betting Partner

BetMGM, a joint venture of GVC Holdings and MGM Resorts International, was chosen as Detroit Lions’ first Official Sports Betting Partner.

According to a statement released on Thursday morning, the partnership features fan-focused assets, such as a presentation from the Lions Bingo sponsor and Lions benefits, as well as team broadcast schedules, digital marketing assets and promotions and signage on the Stadium.

These additions reflect an extension of the existing multi-year partnership with MGM Resorts and the NFL franchise, which features the MGM Grand Detroit Tunnel Club at Ford Field.

Detroit Lions team president Rod Wood said: “Detroit Lions’ historic relationship with BetMGM has been under construction for years and we are proud to announce the details of our official partnership.”

“We are continually looking for new ways to entertain and engage our fans, which is especially important during these unusual moments; this partnership with BetMGM will provide additional and exciting opportunities to engage our fans. ”

BetMGM Marketing Director Matt Prevost is pleased with the deal

BetMGM’s marketing director, Matt Prevost, commented: “When we first opened the BetMGM Sports Lounge at the MGM Grand Detroit in March, we hoped in this way to develop deep relationships with the state’s top teams.
