Estado bate recorde de arrecadação pelo terceiro mês consecutivo.

Sports betting in North Carolina, USA, continues its upward trajectory. In November, the sector reached another record with a total value of US$813.9 million in bets.

This marked the third consecutive record month, according to a report from the North Carolina State Lottery Commission (NCSLC). The number includes promotional and bonus bets.

Since the launch of North Carolina sports betting on March 11, 2024, more than $12 billion in total wagers have been placed, with $10.7 billion returned in winnings paid out.

Future prospects for NFL, NHL, and NBA teams from North Carolina

Carolina Panthers

The Panthers enjoyed a good run after six difficult years. Carolina improved to 7-6 after a 31-28 victory in early December over the Los Angeles Rams, who remain the consensus favorite to win Super Bowl 60. DraftKings was dealing with the Rams at +450 to win it all as of this writing.

The Panthers are half a game away from first place in the NFC South. Tampa Bay (7-5) leads the division, but the teams will meet twice more this season to decide the division champion.

Carolina Hurricanes

The Hurricanes are the second betting favorites to win the Stanley Cup in the FanDuel. The Colorado Avalanche (+400) is at the top of the odds.

Carolina, which won its only Stanley Cup in 2006, has been among the championship contenders in recent years. Last season, the Hurricanes advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals before losing to the Florida Panthers in a 4-1 series.

The Panthers won their second consecutive Stanley Cup.

Charlotte Hornets

The Hornets (6-16) are among the least favored teams to win the NBA Championship. They often seem like an afterthought when it comes to professional sports in North Carolina. The Hornets haven’t had a championship-winning season since the 2021-22 campaign.

Meanwhile, Charlotte FC recently completed its fourth MLS season in Queen City with a playoff run. Despite losing the opening series to New York City Football Club 2-1, the Charlotte soccer team boasts a passionate fanbase.
